Ahh heerlijk het is bijna vakantie. Even geen werk, dus ook even geen berichtjes op sl-gossip magazine. Ik ga genieten van de zomer, ver van huis. Misschien ga ik met de boot of lig ik gewoon op mijn handdoek op het strand. Maar kijk uit, ik hou jullie in de gaten....

Ahh holidays. Off from work and sl-gossip magazine. I'm going to enjoy summer, far away from home. Maybe I will sail or just lay down on my towel on the beach. But be aware, I could be watching you....

Coconut hunt

Ik verveelde me en was op zoek naar iets leuks. Aha, een coconut hunt dat leek me leuk. Je moet de juist kokosnoten vinden waarin prijzen zitten. Ik heb me gek gezocht, maar niets gevonden :(. Wel leuk bedacht.

I was bored and looking for a new challenge. So I went for a coconut hunt. You have to find the right coconuts that have prizes hidden in them. I looked everywhere, but did not find anything :(. And my dear friend turned out to be as bad a hunter as I am.

Surfing race at Tenochtitlan

Zin in iets leuks, maar genoeg van het dansen? Dan moet je echt even naar het strand van Tenochtitlan gaan. De hele maand april kun je daar meedoen aan een surf wedstrijd met hele leuke geldprijzen. Ik kan er niks van dus dat is al 1 concurrent minder. Gewoon even gaan, wedden dat je het leuk vindt?

Wanna have fun, but tired of dancing? Go to the beach of Tenochtitlan. This month you can join for a surfing race around the island. And the winners get real Lindens..... So get your lazy butt over there. You will enjoy it.

Poetry in SL

Ik heb geen idee waarom ik er niet eerder over heb geschreven, maar ik hou van gedichten. Ik schrijf zelf ook wel eens wat, maar dat maak ik zelden openbaar. In SL zoeken de liefhebbers van poëzie elkaar op. Ze lezen voor uit eigen werk en discussiëren erover. Ik ben naar een paar plaatsen geweest waar je op je gemak gedichten kunt lezen. In de tuin met gedichten kun je heerlijk wegdromen en jezelf een groot dichter(es) wanen....

I don't know why I never wrote about it before, but I love poems. Sometimes I write something down myself, but it is too personal to publish it. I have been to some places where you can read poems. In the garden full of poems, you can easily think you are a great poet yourself.....

E.T. and friends

Ik heb E.T. ontmoet. Ahh lief. Compleet met opgloeiend hart. En hij veranderde voor mijn ogen in tweety en Daffy Duck, lol. Dit zijn echt leuke special Avatars. Er zijn voornamelijk cartoon en filmfiguren. Dat wordt leuk op de eerstvolgende costume party (Leonietje!).

I met E.T. Soooo cute. And he changed in front of my eyes into tweety and Daffy Duck. Real funny and cute special Avatars. There are cartoon characters and movie characters. Great for the next costume party. Take a look at what Proteus Boyd made.

X-mas time!

Ho ho ho, het is bijna kerst. In Nederland doen we er niet zo veel aan. Maar daar is in SL niets van te merken. Alles ziet er prachtig uit en hier is het zeker wit met de kerst. En iedereen verkeert in geweldige stemming. Ik probeer zoveel mogelijk plekken te bezoeken en maak zoveel mogelijk foto's. Fijn kerstfeest allemaal!

Ho ho ho, christmas time. We don't celebrate this too much in Holland, but we make it all up in SL. I will try to visit as much places as possible and to make pics of it. Everybody is in such a nce mood.Take a look at this picture, who would not fall in love with this cool guy that sits on Santa's lap :)

Tai Chi

Ik kon wel wat ontspanning gebruiken. Daarom ben ik naar de buddhist Shrive geweest. Heerlijk Tai Chi gedaan en ik ben de rust zelve. Een aanrader.

I could use some relaxation. So I went to the buddhist Shrive. Did some Tai Chi and I am so at ease now. You should try it yourselve.

Nice place with different shops

Ik heb een heel leuk plekje ontdekt. Het heet Canada, maar het lijkt er helemaal niet op. Er zijn daar tropische hutjes met art shops. Leuk bedacht en weer eens wat anders. Elke hutje heeft zijn eigen thema.

I discovered a nice spot. It's called Canada, but it has tropical huts with art shops. Every hut has it's own theme.

Holiday

Ik heb vakantie en reis nu door het hele SL land. Weet je wat de overeenkomst is tussen de steden op deze foto's? Ze heten allebei Venice. Boven Venice beach USA, onder Venice Italy. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar Venice beach USA. Net als in RL is ook daar een muscle beach. Heb geprobeerd te liften, maar de halter was toch te zwaar voor mij. Venice Italy is mooi, maar mist iets. Helaas heb ik ook geen gondels gezien.

It's holiday and I travel around the SL country. Both cities on the pictures are called Venice. The first is Venice beach USA, the second is Venice Italy. I tried some weight lifting at muscle beach, but it was too heavy for me. Venice Italy is beautiful, but it misses spirit. And I also missed the canal boats.
